**GENDERIT.ORG CALL FOR CONTRIBUTORS**

Calling all writers! GenderIT.org has been cited by readers as an
important, singular website that engages with issues around gender & ICT
policies. To keep this site relevant to your diverse realities, we are
building a pool of writers who can contribute on a freelance basis. We
hope that you will join us, and share your knowledge and experience in
connecting advocates and activists with emerging thoughts, current news,
upcoming events and unsung champions in the field of gender and ICTs
from all pockets of the world.

The GenderIT.org pool of writers is open for advocates, journalists,
bloggers, researchers, and people working in the field of gender,
development, communication rights and/or ICT polices. Applicants should be:

    * proficient in Spanish and/or English,
    * have good writing skills and a good grasp of women's and media
      and/or communication rights in their region,
    * some ability to offer a feminist/gender analysis on ICT policy
      issues and processes is also desirable, although this capacity can
      be improved within the working process with GenderIT.org and WNSP
      team.

We encourage applicants from all regions to increase the diversity of
voices, issues, geographical representation and backgrounds. Payment
rates will depend on the kind of articles, issues covered and level of
analysis.

We'd like to hear about:

    * your interest in joining us,
    * your experiences in the gender and/or ICT polices, nd the priority
      areas of focus related to this area
    * a sample of your work (article, research or analytical writing
      especially if it is related to the themes covered by genderIT.org),
    * your CV
