Dear Colleagues

The Carnegie UK Trust and Ipsos MORI have today published new research <http://www.carnegieuktrust.org.uk/publications/2015/digital-participation-in-dumfries-and-kirkcaldy> on digital exclusion in Scotland - this might be of interest to those of you working on digital exclusion/inclusion. The email I received from the publishers states:

"Access to the internet is an increasingly critical social inclusion issue. Our new study examines barriers to internet use and how these barriers can be overcome. Our findings are based on 400 in-depth interviews with internet users and non-users in Dumfries and Kirkcaldy. Our conclusions set out the central issues that must be considered in any effective strategy to tackle digital exclusion.

Please click here<http://www.carnegieuktrust.org.uk/publications/2015/digital-participation-in-dumfries-and-kirkcaldy> to download a copy of the research study.

We ask you to:

1. Download the report and let us know how it relates to your own work on digital exclusion

2. Share the research with any of your colleagues, stakeholders or networks who you think may find it useful

If you would like to discuss the report, or any of the Carnegie UK Trust's other work on digital inclusion, then please do get in touch, we would be very pleased to hear from you."

Cheers,

Stuart
