Dear all,
I have two stories to share with you today:
---
IGF Input - Connecting and Enabling the Next Billion
DC-PAL has sent in the final version of the input document that circulated this list a couple of weeks ago. The deadline was extended by IGF, which gave us a bit more time to work on the contribution. It is available on IFLA's website<http://www.ifla.org/publications/node/10693>.
The call for input is available on IGF's website<http://www.intgovforum.org/cms/policy-options-for-connection-the-next-billion/cenb-ii>.

Public access session at WLIC in Columbus
This weekend marks the start of WLIC 2016<http://2016.ifla.org/>, IFLA's yearly congress. This year the conference takes place in Columbus, Ohio, and a highlight of the programme is of course the Public Access session<http://www.ifla.org/node/10682> on Wednesday 17 August, 13:45-15:45 local time (UTC -4, see your local time here<http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=WLIC+Public+Access+Session&iso=20160817T1345&p1=805&ah=2>!)
It will be possible to follow the session via Twitter (#publicaccess and #wlic2016) and a Bambuser<http://bambuser.com/channel/ifla> livestream.
NB: I haven't tried livestreaming via Bambuser before, so please bear with me in case of technical difficulties. When the livestreaming starts it also will be announced via my Twitter (look for a tweet similar to this one<https://twitter.com/Karolingva/status/763641382363856896>).
---
I look forward to see you, AFK or online, next week! :)
