Dear DC-PAL members,

As coalition and network members of DC-PAL, you all bring unique expertise and experiences in public access and meaningful digital inclusion.

As 2021 IGF intersessional activities are picking up pace, we invite you to take part in a collaborative agenda-setting initiative – to define the key goals and priorities for the work of DC-PAL this year, drawing on the diversity of interests and backgrounds represented in our Dynamic Coalition.

We would like to hear what key trends and issues in this field are of most interest for DC-PAL coalition and network members this year. Do you specialise in equitable access to digital content? Or are you interested in innovative approaches for expanding access to shared connectivity? Or would you like to see DC-PAL explore ways to combine public access with digital skills training effectively?

Take part in the participatory agenda-setting program for DC-PAL this April to share your insights and define the priorities for the work of DC-PAL in 2021!

  * You are welcome to submit your suggestions and ideas through a short survey - https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/6268090/Dynamic-Coalition-on-Public-Access-in-Libraries-Setting-the-Agenda-for-2021 (5 questions, due April 20).
  * We also welcome you to join one of the two short DC-PAL consultation meetings - to discuss your ideas, to shape and get involved with DC-PAL activities in 2021:
     * Meeting 1: Apr 22, 07:00-07:40 UTC (better suited for participants from Asia and Oceania, MENA, Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe)
     * Meeting 2: Apr 22, 17:00-17:40 UTC (better suited for participants from LAC and North America)

If you would like to join the meeting, please send us a quick note to get further details and the Zoom link. If you would like to attend the consultation meeting but are not available at either of these timeslots, don’t hesitate to get in touch – we’d be happy to make an alternative arrangement! Naturally, you are welcome to share your ideas through the survey, during the consultation call, or both.

We welcome inputs from all DC-PAL members and other interested stakeholders - both newcomers and longstanding contributors! We look forward to hearing from you and shaping the agenda of DC-PAL for 2021 together.

Best wishes,
Valensiya
