Dear all,
I wanted to follow up from the below with a reminder that we would be very happy to receive any your thoughts and insights on the topic of how public access to the internet has evolved over the last 20 years, in line with the attached brief.
Many thanks!
Stephen

Subject: [Pal-dc] Evolutions in the role and nature of public internet access in libraries since 2003
Dear all,
It's already 20 years since public access to the internet through libraries appeared in the WSIS Action Lines. To mark this, and with a view to the Global Digital Compact in 2024 and the formal WSIS+20 process in 2025, we're looking to create a collection of insights into how the nature of public internet access in libraries has evolved over this time. The resulting publication will not just highlight individual contributions, but also look to summarise these views, ahead of the 2023 Internet Governance Forum.
A fuller brief is attached, but in short, we welcome short essays (max 350 words), by 31 July 2023.
Many thanks,
Stephen
