You are looking for suggestions.

You seem here to be suggesting that the same rules apply for the Opening Session as for other Sessions, and that names are NOT needed for security reasons. However, if it is administratively easier to have a full list of names, I therefore on behalf of the Campaigns and Networks family (again) propose the following and suggest administrative procedures:

I would appreciate it if other families/Working group would indicate what they intend to do - and start compiling lists. We also need confirmation that the CSD can undertake the administration involved.

I am afraid this is going to descend into chaos or farce, if we do not agree something.

Sean

Proposed Allocation:

Caucus and Working Group: 15 passes each (Total = 405)
Bureau families:  9 passes each (Total = 189);
C&T group 6 passes (Total = 6)

In practice we could proceed as follows:

Each Family, WG, Caucus submit to Lilliane their lists, indicating a priority list up to the total numbers above - but further names could be added after this. Deadline say 4th December

If some do not submit a list by then, or there are incomplete lists and after eliminating duplications, then those on the lists beyond the initial priority set of names can be added

A Pass Desk would have to be set up near the entrance. As people leave, they would hand the Pass back to the Pass Desk to go back into a general pool for all to draw on - or they could hand them on to a nominated Working group, Caucus contact, or whatever.

Each Working group /Caucus/Family would nominate two people in advance either of whom could pick up the passes first thing in the morning' - people could pick them up in their own name, contained on the final list -

Any pre-allocated passes not picked up by 10:00 am would go into the general pool.

Dear Members of the Bureau,

Please find some elements of information on Overpasses:

1. The number of Overpasses for civil society has been increased to a total of 800.

2. Out of these, 150-200 will be handed to the WEMF organisers

3. The only reason why you were invited to put together lists of names was to ensure rapid distribution as well as keeping track of Overpasses. Also, if some persons are absent during distribution, it is easier to distribute to the next person in line. The lists should be ready by 9 Dec. AM.

4. Please note that Overpasses ARE NOT nominative, and thus are transferable. As such, no photos are required. Each family /group is responsible for managing their own Overpasses.

5. It is very important to ensure that Overpasses are returned to the respective focal points, so that they can be re-used. Your suggestions on how you intend to proceed to recuperate them efficiently will be very useful.

Thanks and best regards to all,

Liliane

Chers membres du Bureau,

Veuillez trouver quelques éléments d'information concernant les Laissez-passer:

Liliane
