\RE:		Paris Intersessional Meeting


The WSIS Intersessional meeting will be held from 15 to 18 July 2003 at 
UNESCO Headquarters (7, Place de Fontenoy, F-75007 Paris France).

It was unclear until recently what the modalities for NGO participation 
at the Paris Intersessional meeting on the WSIS were going to be.  The 
WSIS website has just released a document "Information for 
Participants" (WSIS/PCIP/ADM/1-E ) that makes clear that admission / 
accreditation is open to "all NGOs, civil society and business entities 
that were accredited at PrepCom-2. (see WSIS/PC-2/DOC/0009) and to NGOs 
in consultative status with ECOSOC that participated at PrepCom-1 
and/or 2."

The information note promises that the pre-registration information, 
the provisional agenda, official documents will be available "shortly" 
on the WSIS website at:

Since this is during the peak of the tourist seasion, individuals 
wishing to attend are advised to book accomodations early.
