Don't forget Quatorze Juillet, French Independence Day -- I have my hotel booked already. Not sure if the week is good because Parisians may be on holiday or bad because true Parisians, like true new Yorkers, stay in the the city. How many tourists will remain AFTER 14 July I cannot say.
