[WSIS CS-Plenary] URGENT: Information on Fellowships

Hi all,

When I tried last Friday to push for another Bureau meeting on fellowships,
I was told that Louise and Alain would call me at the beginning of this week
for further clarifications. Seeing some of your comments coming in, I tried
to be in touch with Claire who was not available, with Louise who is in
Paris and finally got Liliane, who told me that Louise had discussed with
the Executive Secretariat on Friday night and pushed for a better deal than
expected last week. However, I did not get any details other than the ratio
of LDCs and other countries, nor a list of those who have received any
funding.
Hope to hear from Louise by tomorrow.

dear all

Renate - thank you for posting information from the CS Bureau meeting to
the list. I know that you are working hard to ensure communication flows
are as good as possible with the plenary.

However, i think we will need an update on the fellowships urgently.
Several people have received notifications that they have NOT received
fellowships, i'm assuming they have just gone out today.

Some of them are key CS actors, and at this stage, we don't of course know
how we will get these people to the Summit, so it would seem, we need to
address this very urgently and make a plan.
