Indigenous Women in the Information Society

Around 300 women are participating of the IV Continental Encounter of Indigenous Women, which is currently taking place in Lima. Different ways of dominating communication, which exclude people and specially women, are being discussed during the encounter.

Delegates of different communication experiences discussed about the huge difficulties to call the traditional media's attention regarding indigenous realities, leaving discriminatory stereotypes aside.
