Hi Richard,
I support your comments concerning progress can obtain
CS on conditions of participation in Tunis Summit of
desabled persons... Some friends who would like to
focus only on journalists situation and work
conditions should not be happy but we must debate...
In my point of view, the SC must have its special view
and vision concerning all fiels eligible to debate as
condition of a good governance for information and
communication in the developped countries,
underdevelopement, North South digital situation,
human rights etc...
If the CS go to Tunis to say thanks to the
organizators and to applauds Governmental and UN and
private operators proposals it will be a failure !
I do think that situation of journalist in Tunis and
other dictature countries is very important to deal
with during the preparation tenue and follow-uo of
Tunis Summit, but not more than situation of women,
young, elder, rurale populations, poors etc as
beneficiary of information and communication products
and services...

Je marque mon accord pour que la SC puisse se battre
pour obtenir de meilleures conditions d'accès des
handicapés au Sommet de Tunis... Certains amis
focalisés sur le seul sort des journalistes en Tunisie
et dans d'autres pays dictatoriaux (problème important
et personne ne le conteste) ont peut-être raison
puisqu'il s'agit du sommet de l'information, mais la
société civile aurait tord de ne défendre que ce
dossier tant il est vrai que les autres dossiers,
pauvreté, fosssé numérique, femmes, jeunes, 3ème age,
paysans, pauvres etc sont aussi important puisqu'ils
devraient constituer la finalité de l'information
produite... parce que si nous nous inscrivons
seulement dans la logique des gouvernements, des
nations unies et des opérateurs privés se serais un
échec...
