This is to inform you of a Workshop on ICT Policy and Civil Society to be
held at the World Social Forum 2004 in Mumbai, India.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
The ICT Policy for Civil Society workshop builds the capacity of civil
society organisations to understand policy and regulation related to
information and communication technologies (ICT) so that they can begin to
engage and influence policy processes affecting ICT adoption and
implementation at national, regional and global levels.

FOCUS OF WORKSHOP:
During the WSF 2004, the workshop will focus on ADVOCACY, TACTICS AND
LOBBYING For civil society using
the case study of the World Summit on Information Society - WSIS.
