We are now reloading our Canadian WSIS resource and exchange web site,
and will also feature the basic documents.
Is there anything else you need to make this work? We will take a look today.
http://wsis.ecommons.ca
http://smsi.agora-electronique.ca
We will also add a Spanish tag for the Spanish docs.
Anyone can go in and post information to the Canadian wsis site btw, ( it
is a drupal open source site) in french english or spanish, simply by
registering.Amelia - amelia Bryne Potter <ameliabryne at mac.com
is helping reload the site.
We will communicate in time for Berlin Sunday meeting (in French and
English!) on various issues, including- accountability and effectiveness for civil society
- who speaks for Canada and North America in summit 2? where are the
consultative mechanisms? how can we bridge some of the gaps in
communications internally, to other scetors and to public? how can we
ensure an accountable and responsible presence in Tunis?- ideas on how to address need to raise profile of WSIS SMSI among civil
society and community groups, and interested publics
Sorry that we cannot attend in Berlin, but the Canadian federal election
now under way requires urgent attention, and some of us are attending a
long planned Media Ecology conference in Rochester (where WSIS will come
up on June 13 in a panel on "Future of the Internet").
best wishes
