Chers colleges / Dear Colleagues,

Sinceremente,

Rik Panganiban

=======================================

Dear Colleagues,

There will be a "conversation" with Mr. Mark Malloch-Brown,
administrator of UNDP next week. The meeting will take place in room
XXIII at the Palais des Nations (Geneva) at 1700 on 16 June. He will
speak about the Millennium Development Goals and UN reform. So I think
this meeting would be a good opportunity for us to ask him about
financing for ICT development in the context of the WSIS. His office
has been made responsible for this subject by the Secretary General of
the UN, but we have received no information about any progress on this
matter.

I can not be there, but I hope that some participant from civil society
from the WSIS process can be there to participate and make a report
back to this list.

Regards,

Rik Panganiban
WFM
