A key event towards the implementation of 
WSIS recommendations in favour of Open Access to Scientific Information.

Excerpt from the invitation letter to UN diplomats by the Max Planck
Institute :

This event is brought under the framework of the implementation of the
WSIS recommendations with the help of the WSIS Civil Society "Scientific
Information" Working group chaired by Dr. Muguet, His Excellency Adama
Samassékou has made us the great honour to attend this meeting and to
present opening and closing remarks. In particular, the signing of the
Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and
Humanities is an event of specific significance,

recommandations de WSIS avec l'aide du groupe de travail de la société
civile sur l'information scientifique"  coordonné par Dr. Muguet, son
excellence Adama Samassékou nous a fait le grand honneur d'assister à
cette réunion et l'ouverture et les observations finales. En
particulier, la signature de la déclaration de Berlin sur e libreaccès 
à la connaissance en sciences et les sciences humaines est un événement
d'une signification spécifique,

Este acontecimiento se trae bajo marco de la puesta en práctica de las
recomendaciones de WSIS con la ayuda del grupo de la sociedad civil
sobre la informacion scientifica, presidido por Dr. Muguet, su
excelencia Adama Samassékou nos ha hecho el gran honor de assistir a
esta reunión y a las actuales observaciones de la abertura y de cierre.
En detalle, la firma del declaración de Berlín en el acceso abierto al
conocimiento en las ciencias y la humanidad es un acontecimiento de la
significación específica.
