ENGLISH:

Just to avoid any misunderstandings, please let me point out
that the message I'm replying to does not reflect a majority
position among the individuals and organizations taking part
in the WSIS CS LAC Caucus. The document contains a number of
inaccuracies, and in general terms transpires a childish attitude:
``I don't like whatever is discussed in the LAC CS mailing
list, so I declare it's not the LAC CS space anymore'':)
I feel that this list is not an appropriate place for discussing
such attitude.

However, the subject of the message can be misleading, if you
read it as representing LAC. Of course, its signatories are
people from the region, but have no authority at all for speaking
on behalf of LAC (nobody has, BTW). Let me remind you that the
signatories are thirteen people from eleven organizations (some
of them closely related)...

Apologies for bringing this minor issues here, but I'm trying
to avoid the spreading of confusion.

Sólo para evitar malentendidos, por favor permítanme señalar que
el mensaje al que estoy respondiendo no refleja una posición
mayoritaria entre las personas y organizaciones que forman parte
del Caucus de America Latina y el Caribe de la sociedad civil en
la CMSI. El documento contiene numerosas inexactitudes, y
trasunta una actitud infantil: ``No me gusta lo que se discute
en la lista de correos de la SC de LAC, asi que declaro que
la lista ya no es el espacio de la SC de LAC''. Creo que esta
lista no es el espacio apropiado para discutir esa actitud.

Sin embargo, el asunto del mensaje puede llevar a confusiones,
si se lo lee como representando a LAC. Por supuesto, sus firmantes
son personas de la región, pero carecen de autoridad para hablar
en nombre de LAC (autoridad que, por otra parte, nadie tiene).
Permitanme recordar que los firmantes son trece personas de once
organizaciones, algunas de ellas estrechamente relacionadas...

Acepten mis disculpas por traer estas cuestiones menores a este
espacio, pero esto tratando de evitar la diseminación de
confusiones.
