COLOMBIA: LANZAMIENTO PORTAL CUMBRE MUNDIAL DE LA
SOCIEDAD DE LA INFORMACIÓN 
12 miembros de la Asociación para el Progreso de las
Comunicaciones - APC en distintos países del mundo han
creado portales web de políticas nacionales de
Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación, TIC y
monitores de la Cumbre Mundial de la Sociedad de la
Información, CMSI. Estos portales utilizan software
libre que permite compartir contenidos en diferentes
idiomas y entre múltiples bases de datos informativas
alojadas en distintas partes del mundo.

INDYMEDIA @ THE ESF
At the heart of one of the worlds most techno-surveyed
capital cities, thousands of people from a huge array
of social movements will gather in London for this
years European Social Forum. Indymedia is hosting a
four-day Indymedia centre (IMC) to facilitate
reporting and DIY media production around the ESF and

organizaciones e individuos para el FSM 2005, que
sucederá en Porto Alegre (Brasil) entre el 26 y el 31
de enero de 2005. El Foro Social Mundial de 2005 se
construirá bajo una nueva perspectiva y metodología,
con el objetivo de ampliar al máximo la posibilidad de
convergencia, multiplicar los diálogos durante el
evento y evitar la repetición desarticulada de
actividades sobre el mismo tema. Esa iniciativa parte
de la premisa de que no se puede construir otro mundo
sin agregarse esfuerzos, construir alternativas y
articular acciones y campañas en común.

individus. Le Forum Social Mondial 2005 a été
construit avec une nouvelle perspective et
méthodologie, avec comme objectif augmenter au maximum
la possibilité de convergences, multiplier les
dialogues durant lévènement et éviter la répétition
d´activités sur un même thème. Cette iniciative vient
de la prémisse qui dit qu´il n´est pas possible
construire un autre monde sans faire des efforts,
construire des alternatives et articuler des actions
et des campagnes en commun.

INFORMATION HOW TO REGISTER TO WORLD SOCIAL FORUM 2005
The registrations for WSF 2005, to be held in Porto
Alegre (Brazil) from January 26 to 31, 2005, are
opened for organisations and individuals. World Social
Forum 2005 will be made up of a new perspective and of
a new methodology, aims to enlarge the possibility of
convergences, increase dialogues during the event and
avoid different activities on same issue that have
been developed repetitively and without dialogue
between them. This initiative starts from the premise
that its not possible build another world without
adding efforts, building alternatives and interlinking
common actions and campaigns.

GOOGLE CONFORMS TO CHINESE CENSORSHIP 
According to Yahoo! News Section, Google Inc.'s
recently launched news service in China doesn't
display results from Web sites blocked by that
country's authorities, raising prickly questions for
an online search engine that has famously promised to
"do no evil."
