R: [WSIS CS-Plenary] further comments on Global Alliance

Ciao, and thanks Rik, for sharing this with us. Is there a report of the
meeting and record of interventions somewhere? Maybe you have notes...
I am pleased about the proposal of multi-monitoring mechanisms, as I/we in
Italy are thinking about precisely setting up some kind of monitoring
mechanism to check our government's commitments within/after WSIS. I believe
it would be interesting and useful to discuss (maybe within the working
method group) about a possible framework to be shared by CS groups so that
similar and parallel monitoring activities could be developed in different
countries. Maybe somebody is already planning along this line. Making
something like this a joint effort would greatly enhance the value and
effectiveness of CS groups in different contexts.
