Thanks, Anita, very good news !
We as CS Finance List we really are very happy with
this position on The presentation arguing a
central place for public financing for ICTD. We do
support that the best manner to meet the challenge od
the Digital Divide is through the rehabilitation of
the ODA. All other initiatives like Fonds de
solidarité numérique must be considered only as
marginal contribution to adress some marginal aspect
of the Digital Divide.
Other aspect to be adressed is the necessety to adress
Digital Development in an integrated approach taking
into account that no digital progress without relevant
progress in several sectors : infrastructure,
education, training, information and communication
access for all.
All the best
Djilali
Djilali
