Likening free software advocates with maoist groups is not constructive,
and can be even construed as disqualifying towards the person uttering
the comment. It's tantamount to saying "I can't offer a good
counter-argument to what this person is saying, so I'll try to discredit
the person itself, by likening her to someone odious". If you have
concrete criticism towards our ideas, we'd certainly love to discuss it
and learn from it.

 If you don't, It's unfair to criticize us for saying what we think is
true.

I think an apology is in order. And if this is indeed the reason why no
free software advocates are present at the WGIG,  this is a new and very
important reason why the whole process ought to be revised, because it
was based on prejudice instead of merit.
