[WSIS CS-Plenary] WSIS participation

Dear List,

I couldn't find any infos on the below question on the WSIS website, so 
maybe someone on the list can help me. 
Is it possible to attend the WSIS in Tunis as a private person (academic) 
without accredited NGO background? And how can I register for the summit?
I am grateful for any help.
