Microsoft deals enable domination of IPTV

Microsoft has reportedly secured deals with telecoms operators in the US 
and Europe which will enable the software giant to dominate the emerging 
market for internet protocol television (IPTV). According to The Business, 
deals already in place with a jigsaw of operators mean 75% of fixed 
telephony lines will use Microsoft software to deliver full broadcast and 
on-demand television services.
