Subject: [WSIS CS-Plenary] Working Space for Civil Society at the Kram Center
Dear all,
During Tunis Summit, Civil Society will have a space at the Kram Center. In this space (we requested to be equipped with PC connected to internet, laptop connections, tables, chairs, printer and photocopy facilities) we will have several offices, two meetings rooms and an open working area for all civil society participants.
In this space we will have a booking system for:
- Two Meetings Rooms; one has the capacity of 45 seats and will be equipped with 1 video projector; the second one has the capacity of 35 seats. The rooms will be allocated in one hour time slot (more than one hour can be booked if needed). The working hours will be from 8:00 am to 20:00 pm, from 14 - 19 November 2005. On November 13th working hours will be as from 12:00. There won't be interpretation facilities in both rooms.
- 7 Offices (we requested to be equipped with 2 big desks, 4 chairs, 1 PC connected to Internet, 2 additional laptop connections, 1 filing cabinet of shelving, and 1 local phone) The offices will be allocated in two hours time slot (more than one time slot can be booked if needed) The working hours will be from 8:00 am to 20:00 pm, from 14 - 19 November 2005. On November 13th working hours will be as from 12:00.
We have already asked caucus/family coordinators to booked offices and/or a meeting room if needed, as priority is given to them.
If your organization needs to organize a meeting or needs a private working space (office) during the resumed PrepCom-3 and/or the Summit please fill out the forms attached and send it back to us at wsis at ngocongo.org.
Please note that we are going to process the request as first come first served basis.
Best regards,
Alejandra Mendoza León
