Dear All --

Tunisian teachers are going on strike to protest Tunisia's invitation to
Israeli PM to attend the WSIS. Thwe teachers are demnanding recvocation of the
invitation.

So, Tunisia will recognize UN extraterritoriality to Sharon but not to Robt.
Menard (whose case is still pending in Tunisiai over the extra-legal RSF
sit-in at the Tunisian Tourist Office in Paris -- where the demonstrators were
dislodged by French police using tear gas, if memory serves).

And Charles Geiger's reaction to being so informed by the Tunisian government
is just to serve as a messenger for a host government hindering
extraterritorial access to a UN event.

Should Kofi Annan be asked to tell the ITU and the WSIS Secretariat that they
have obligations as UN agencies ?

Best, Rony Koven
