  Dear All,

The Millennium Development Goals Report 2006 contains the latest and most
comprehensive figures available through improved data collection and
monitoring worldwide. The data collected will be presented each year until
2015, the target date for the Millennium Development Goals. This effort is
based on a master set of data compiled by the Inter-agency and Expert
Group on MDG Indicators (led by the Department of Economic and Social
Affairs, United Nations Secretariat) and is aimed at giving further
direction and focus to international cooperation and national action. This
is in response to the wishes of the General Assembly for periodic
assessment of progress towards the MDGs. The report[*] is available online
