[WSIS CS-Plenary] reminder: 3rd international conference on GPLv3 in Barcelona, Catalunya, Spain

Hi all,

the GNU General Public License (GPL) is the most used Free Software
license in the world. Large parts of what is genuinely percieved as
"the internet" are running on software under this license -- including
this mailing list.

That license is currently undergoing a global feedback process for its
latest revision, with GNU GPLv3 being scheduled for early 2007. [1] As
part of that process, there is a global series of conferences to
inform people about GPLv3 and to collect feedback and input.

The international conferences one and two were in the United States,
and in Brazil. The third conference will now take place in Europe,
before the process moves on to Asia.

The 3rd International GPLv3 Conference [2] will be a unique
opportunity to get first-hand information about, and participate in,
what has also been described as "update of the constitution."
