eINDIA2007 is an inclusive, consultative and constructive ICT for
Development forum – the largest and only one of its kind in India –
promoting and propagating the use of ICT4D through its seven seminal
thematic track conferences.

eINDIA2007 aims to build a neutral platform for sharing knowledge and
collaboration and strategic networking for ICT4D. The larger vision is
to contribute to creative ideas and processes that can bridge the
digital divide and connect practitioners. The pre-conference
preparations and partnerships processes help to develop a relevant
agenda and to connect practitioners. It helps to bring the community
closer, creating new alliances and collaborations. The process initiated
at these consultations offer the space to learn freely, with open minds,
paving the path for an enlightened and egalitarian, collective vision
for socially and economically equitable India using ICTs for
development, which can become examples for other countries in Asia and
elsewhere in the world.
