Dear Sir/Madam,

I have the pleasure to attach below a provisional programme for the 11th 
session of the United Nations Commission on Science and Technology for 
Development (CSTD).  I am also attaching an "Aide Memoire" for 
delegations attending the session at ministerial level  and  an issues 
note for the Ministerial Segment.  

The CSTD session  is open to member States of the United Nations -  both 
members and non-members of the CSTD-, as well as representatives from 
intergovernmental organizations and from NGOs in consultative status 
with ECOSOC.  Civil society and business entities that were accredited 
to WSIS can also participate in this session.
