PS.  Please note that the visa procedures for Switzerland have changed. 
The Swiss embassies and consulates are now delivering "Schengen" visas. 
The advantage is that with a Schengen visa, you have no problem to travel 
e.g. through Paris, because the visa is valid for all Schengen states. 
Also, you can travel from Geneva to neighbouring France without problem, 
or take a hotel room in Annemasse or Ferney-Voltaire, which is cheaper 
than Geneva. The flip side of the coin is that the visa procedure is 
longer, and may take between 10 days and 3 weeks, because all Schengen 
states have to confirm the visa (it is an electronic procedure, but still 
it takes time).  My recommendation for those of you who are from 
developing countries and need a visa for Switzerland is therefore that you 
register asap with ITU for the WSIS week, and start the visa procedure as 
soon as you have the registration confirmation from ITU.
