Focuss.Info Initiative : Annual Conference 
This year Annual Conference will take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

At the end of 2010 or the beginning of 2011 the Focuss.Info Initiative will host a conference which helps institutes to develop effective 'infostructures' based on social computing tools. The objective of this conference is to improve access to information - a fundamental human right that strengthens democracy - by promoting new information and communication skills among peers in the domain of global development research and cooperation. Furthermore, by developing 'infostructures' based on social computing tools people can create cross-disciplinary networks. Therefore we will invite students, researchers and individual practitioners who are working in the field of global development research and cooperation in Bangladesh and its surrounding countries. The Annual Conference will consists of theoretical seminars and practical workshops.

Focuss.Info will bring together a selection of highly accomplished, passionate, interesting speakers from Bangladesh and around the world. The official line-up of speakers and workshop facilitators will be announced as soon as possible.
