[Pal-dc] DC Public Access: zoom call for IGF 2018 and more

Dear all,

I just realized I have not shared with you an important document for public access in libraries. At IFLA, we have been working on this toolkit with the intention to provide a step by step guide for public librarians on how to advocate for public access in their countries/regions. I would appreciate any suggestions you could provide.

Also, in preparation for IGF 2018, it would be extremely useful to brainstorm about how this DC could contribute to highlight how public libraries are central to social cohesion, education and empowerment (and more) and present our findings in the context of the next IGF meeting. Also, there is an impetus for DCs to work together, and I would encourage you to read the attached list (below) to determine which cross collaborations would be most appropriate to our mission.

Should we have a zoom call sometime soon? Suggestions or comments on how to move things forward?
