Dear all,

Thank you for your positive responses and suggestions for the
"Surveillance Society Status Report" session on July 16th at Paris 
Intersessional meeting.  

FYI, the received comments and suggestions are as follows;

After more coordination with volunteers, the more detailed agenda
can be distributed possibly on July 12th, Sat.

Update, July 10th 2003
------------------------

1. Supports from CS friends for Surveillance Society Status Report session
Alan G. Alegre, Karen Banks, Rik Panganiban, etc

2. Further suggestions

- To develop index for each country as a criteria of Internet Rights such as
  Human Development Index announced at the Human Development Report
  (Seonghoon Lee, Anselmo)

- alternative civil society "reverse surveillance(Rik Panganiban)

- RFID case (Adam Peake)

- surveillance notes(Mark Silbergeld)

- To produce a database or report for a reference possibly with other
   initiatives or efforts, considering a possibility to present this outcome 
   at Communication Rights Summit(Alan Alegre)

- To coordinate closely with Youth caucus for country report or update 
   (Titi Akinsanmi)

3. Volunteers
Ralf Bendrath, Titi Akinsanmi, ....(More volunteers are expected.) 

4. Logistical Arrangement
Renata Bloem takes care of the session's venue and time at UNESCO.
