CIVIL SOCIETY REPORT ON OFFICIAL WSIS INTERSESSIONAL MEETINGS
15 July 2003


Summary: After initial introductory comments and organizational 
matters, the delegations began discussing the draft declaration of 
principles.  They proceeded as far as paragraph 18, intending to finish 
discussion of the declaration tomorrow morning.  A sub-group was formed 
to deal with differences on issues of the “Right to Information,” the 
“right to communicate”, the “right to development,” and the “Knowledge 
Society.”  After completing discussion of the declaration, the 
delegations will begin discussions of the Action Plan.....
