Statement on paragraph 51

Many civil society groups notably including media and journalistic 
organisations at this conference deeply regret that paragraph 51 of the draft 
declaration of WSIS has been reduced to almost nothing. 

We especially regret that the thoughtful Swiss amendment on the media has been 
dropped. We appeal for it to be restored.
