Virtual Collaboration Group Update - April 2004

(1) Working group URL is  - http://cms.privaterra.org/WSIS_WG_Virtual
- The Wiki software has been updated - should resolve some of the 
issues people where having in accessing and viewing the site.

(2) The Latin American caucus has drafted a formal letter which they 
have asked to be circulated for endorsement by CS members and working 
groups.

The civil society organization: Latin American and Caribbean Caucus, 
an active participant in the WSIS process, has followed the 
discussion on the use of different platform options for collaborative 
interaction and joint efforts online. In consonance with our will to 
build an inclusive and democratic information society we want the 
communications options within the framework of this process to be the 
most simple, accessible and open possible...... [continued]

If you would like to endorse the letter please either add your name 
and info the the wiki and/or send your info to Beatriz Busaniche 
(busaniche at caminandoutopias.org.ar) - who will add your info to the 
list of signatories.

help and/or volunteers are requested to translate the letter into 
French and Arabic. Please contact Beatriz for further details.


(3) The mailing list setup for the working group has been moved from 
a personal server to one at an academic institution - where support 
and bandwidth is more readibly available. Existing subscribers have 
been transferred over, and the wiki page has been updated accordingly.
