Robert, let me add that your message was plenty of personal comments,
like consider who are the key organizations of the caucus, comments to
the signers of the letter and your consideration that it was necessary
for key organizations to issue an "open letter" to refocus the aims,
objectives and guidelines of the caucus".

There is a political discusion within the latin american caucus, but 
that seems to be a "problem", As Robert said "This shows us all that
"problems" can occur anytime, anywhere".

Hay una discusión política al interior del caucus de america latina,
pero eso parece ser un "problema, como Dijo Robert, "esto nos demuestra
que los problemas pueden ocurrir en cualquier momento en cualquier
lugar". 

let me add that political discusions are not problems, and that i invite
the plenary, and the other caucus to discuss the terms we are discussing
in the latin american caucus. Lac caucus has open archives, so everybody
that reads spanish could go and visit them to check what is happening. 

Déjame agregar que las discusiones políticas NO son PROBLEMAS, y que
invito a la plenaria y a otros caucus a discutir los términos que
estamos discutiendo en el caucus de América Latina.  El caucus lac tiene
archivos abiertos, así que quienes puedan leer español pueden visitarlos
y ver directamente qué está ocurriendo.

Robert, there are no informal arrangements of how and who could take
statements from one space and share them in other spaces.

Robert, no hay ningún arreglo informal sobre como y quien puede tomar
una declaración de un espacio y compartirla con otros. 

The main problem was that you presented the situation in a way that a
lot of people from lac caucus could not agree.  

El problema principal fue que presentaste la situación de una forma tal
que mucha gente del caucus lac no podría acordar. 

The letter is still under discusion.  Some people endorsed it, but some
other people ask for changes and further explanations.  Your message to
plenary did not reflect this situation.  

La carta está aún bajo discusión. algunas personas la firmaron pero
otras personas pidieron cambios y más explicaciones. Tu mensaje a
plenaria no reflejó esa situación. 

For the people that wants to know what is happening in the latin
american caucus, i have to say that we are having strong political
discutions about a lot of issues, including free software, patents,
copyrights, and the political point of view in the shaping of
"information society" or "free knowledge society" as different policital
projects.

Para las personas que quieren saber qué es lo que está pasando en el
caucus de america latina, debo decir que estamos teniendo una fuerte
discusión política sobre varios temas, incluyendo software libre,
patentes, copyrights y el punto de vista político del desarrollo de la
sociedad de la información o el desarrollo de la "sociedad del
conocimiento libre", como proyectos políticos diferentes. 

We just want to know for which projects we are working. If political
discutions are problems, then i do not understand what are we doing in
this summit. 


Sólo queremos saber por qué proyecto estamos trabajando, Si las
discusiones políticas son "problemas", entonces no entiendo que es lo
que estamos haciendo en esta cumbre.
