On research 'representativeness' Re: [WSIS CS-Plenary] LAUNCH of INTERNET GOVERNANCE PROJECT

Dear all:

The issue of representativeness should apply to the research target
(sample) and not to the researchers. No one can argue that a
'representative' sample is not important to the results of the research. I
agree with Meryem that the most important criterion about the researchers
is their 'cohesiveness' and 'commitment' rather than 'representation'; if
that what she means.
