(a) The mission of this forum extends well beyond ``preparing for
the next WSIS''. This is a virtual place for agreeing common CS
policies and actions.

(b) `Change does not come from the outside'. True. But solidarity
from outside helps to foster the changes. Helps to give a voice to
dissidents. Helps to press dictatorial governments.

(c) _Each_and_every_ forum is suitable for discussing human rights
issues. Particularly this one, since CS organizations have affirmed
the supremacy of human rights in the construction of the information
society (see e.g. chapter 2 of
http://www.worldsummit2003.de/download_en/CS-Essential-Benchmarks-for-WSIS-11-12-03-en.rtf )

Human rights are an issue in this forum. All human rights. And a
crucial issue. Please see above referred document.

As a side note, I sincerely hope that you tried to mean `chaos' instead
of `anarchy'

If human rights issues are ``undue distractions'' from your viewpoint,
I'm afraid you got into the wrong place.

Sincerely,

Enrique
