I recommend the "Leipziger Gose", a special "obergäriges Bier" for "poor people" which is extremely sour. If you drink two, you have enough for the next four hours :-). In the 1920s it was very popoular because it was cheap and served cold.

With all this discussion I have to add from BC -   have you tried the 
 
British Columbia ( Canadian )  " ice wines " ? - grin!
