Subject: [Ecommerce] Declaration on the Future of WIPO
Dear colleagues,
Sorry for crossposting this. Feel free to send link to other lists.
The World Intellectual Property Organization is debating a new agenda
proposed by Brazil and Argentina. There was a big debate on the
proposal at a TACD meeting in Geneva, Sept 13-14, 2004. The Declaration
available at the following link:
http://www.cptech.org/ip/wipo/genevadeclaration.html comes from
discussions at this meeting.
The Declaration speaks for itself. People should read it and send name
(and affiliation if any) to:
mailto:geneva_declaration at cptech.org
We are collecting signatures but probably will not post names of people
who sign until tomorrow. For questions, contact Thiru
<thiru at cptech.org> or Manon <manon.ress at cptech.org>
