[WSIS CS-Plenary] linguistic barriers - resist them don't let them stop us

Yes Lisa and Rony and Dijilali

It was a sweet exchange. So much so for the articulation of the change 
in tone.

But it's hard to be so nice all the time, and mailboxes do get 
cluttered, and we do hear, and we do forget to say we hear, and thanks 
Rony for that.

And as imperfect as they are I have longed for a translation tool.

Right now I would like to be heard AND understood in Urdu and 
Mongolian, but French would be good too,

and though tone and words can be so revealing, real words, spoken in 
mother tongue,  speak volumes in the reality of communication, so we 
have to practice human rights too, and be tolerant and accommodating  
(of babel fish, and other misunderstandings, until they are 
superseded).

We cannot expect a perfect solution, yet - but we are in a position to 
argue that best practice and research should be applied to the problem, 
especially since we can now contact each other.

Oui Lisa et Rony et Dijilali

C'était un échange doux. Tellement ainsi pour l'articulation du 
changement de la tonalité.

Mais il est difficile d'être si gentil toute l'heure, et les boîtes aux 
lettres obtiennent encombrées, et nous entendons, et nous oublions de 
dire que nous entendons, et remercions Rony de celui.

Et aussi imparfait qu'elles sont moi ont désiré ardemment pour un outil 
de traduction.  En ce moment je voudrais être entendu ET compris dans 
Urdu et mongol, mais le Français serait bon aussi,  et bien que la 
tonalité et les mots puissent ainsi indiquer, les vrais mots, parlés 
dans la langue maternelle, parlent des volumes en réalité de 
communication, ainsi nous devons pratiquer des droits de l'homme aussi, 
et soyons tolérants et s'adapter (des poissons de Babel, et d'autres 
malentendus, jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient remplacés).

Nous ne pouvons pas nous attendre à une solution parfaite, pourtant - 
mais nous sommes en mesure pour arguer du fait que la meilleures 
pratique et recherche devraient être appliquées au problème, d'autant 
plus que nous pouvons maintenant nous contacter.
