on WSIS implimentation

Hello
For full disclosure of information and transparency here is the address
of the web site of this "informal consultation" that I just received
in my mail.
http://www.itu.int/council/wsis/Informal_Consultations/Informal_Consultations.html
It is quite interesting to have a look also at the web site
http://www.itu.int/council/wsis/wsis_WG.html
of the ITU Council Working Group on WSIS.
Then one notices that there is
the *Eighth** meeting of ** the Council WG-WSIS - CCV, Geneva, 3-4 May
2005*
( for governement only ).
The link between the 2 meetings seems obvious.
It seems that one must read all the documents of both meetings before
one could get an informed judgement of what's going on.
I did not have time to read the preparatory documents.
I guess it would have been better to have had CS observers admitted there
instead of calling a semi-secret meeting just before with a few
selected CS persons.
Concerning the question if this 2 May meeting is open to the uninvited,
my guess
is that at least one person who is going to attend was not invited, but
filled
the form posted by Ralf on the plenary and got invited.
Conversely many persons who were invited could not come.
I would therefore encourage people to fill the registration form
and try to attend if they can travel to the crime scene in time.
Djilali is quite right in reminding us of the selection process
of the CS representatives at the TFFM.
Best regards
Francis
