[WSIS CS-Plenary] can we move on

Please don't misread me- no intention for being moralistic or high ground
here. I am not against criticisms and airing views- totally for it, IF that
is the purpose of this list. I was just suggesting this as people are
already inundated with emails and I thought plenary list served a particular
purpose and other caucuses e.g. media, IG, etc had their own lists where
these issues could be debated, indulged in, etc.

Sorry maybe I was wrong about my impression about the purpose of this list.
Again, I am a "newbie" just trying to share my 2 cts worth of opinion.
Nothing wrong with some Netiquette- which of course, does not rule out
criticisms or disagreements, by the way.

Thanks Carlos

If more lists and other forums had been aerated like this before and at
every opportunity, it might just have been that the message might have
spread to Americans that they had a sham election to elect a religious
maniac butcher.

If more lists and other forums had been aerated like this before and at
every opportunity, we might today be proud of what was accomplished at WSIS
- least of which would have been a Europe that would have stood its ground
on internet control

Perhaps more of us might decide to take part in opening the eyes of our
American brethren. If in the process we bring in this list to do so, so be
it!

Rui

Frankly, Laina, this moralistic burst is totally unnecessary and out of sync
-- all the more so considering the specific persons involved (if we can call
them that) like Condi and W. The list is not out of control, and we are not
robots talking only about a strict list of themes. It is nice to aerate the
list a bit once in a while with this exchange -- this is also democracy,
mind you.

fraternal regards
