Dear all:

The new website of the CIPACO project of the the Panos Institute West Africa
is now online. It was launched at the regional African WSIS meeting (Feb
2005). It is bilingual (French - English) and has three main functions:

- portal on regional and international ICT policies (documents, stories,
calendar, newsletter), especially for West and Central Africa

- e-debate space

- space for collaboration (syndication of news, contribution form, etc.)

We would like to collaborate with interested institutions regarding this
initiative.

The CIPACO project has been initiated to strengthen the capacity of all
African stakeholders for a more effective participation in international ICT
decision-making processes. It's a project implemented by the Panos Institute
West Africa of which aim is to promote Democracy, Citizenship and Peace,
through information and communication. It has been initiated within the
framework the CATIA Programme, led by DFID.
