The ITU has just produced a document on the Tunis summit format, which was
presented to the CS Content & Themes group an hour ago. They plan to have
much more CS interventions and participation then.
See <http://www.itu.int/wsis/docs2/pc2/off4.doc>

The document also contains a number of other information on the summit
format. One interesting point for us realing the CS speaker scandal in
Geneva (when the ITU overrode our nominations) is the following point:

"The organizational meeting shall be followed by the opening ceremony of
the Summit. The Heads of State of the host countries, the
Secretary-General of the United Nations, the Secretary-General of ITU, the
President of the Preparatory Committee, and one top-level representative
from civil society (including NGOs) as well as one top-level
representative from a business sector entity (including ITU Sector
Members), identified through their self-organizing mechanisms, in
coordination with the Secretary-General of the Summit, will be invited to
make opening remarks."

Ralf <- just in the final PrepCom plenary, which is about to end
