This is wrong. Several organizations and networks made suggestions. Even 
WSIS CS working groups proposed candidates or lists of candidates 
directly to Kummer. The NCUC also sent a list to Kummer. The IG caucus 
was aware of these activities like anybody else on the plenary list 
paying attention to these issues. Moreover, the IG caucus did not know 
if and to what degree Annan and Kummer would follow our suggestions.

Someone at the UN must have made the decision to follow to a large 
degree the suggestions from IG caucus and NCUC.

I'd wish we would stop this discussion. To me it seems quite destructive 
and seems not lead anywhere.
