Dear all, 

 

It is with great pleasure that we inform you that we have been selected to
work as WSIS CS Secretariat at the Conference of NGOs (CONGO). We started
our duty in May, and we now consider we are fully operational to help Civil
Society participation in the WSIS process as much as we can!

 

Of course, this job represents a great challenge for both of us, and we are
highly motivated to carry this out with countless commitment and enthusiasm.
Our current appointment comes within the straight line of the previous CONGO
team for WSIS. Actually we have been working with CONGO for several months,
and more specifically we have been assisting Adina Fulga Radi in the
preparation and organisation of PrepCom-2, following with great attention
interactions between WSIS actors, CS working methods as well as WSIS-related
issues. 

 

Lastly please note that the CONGO team now reflects one of the major
concerns of the Information Society, namely linguistic diversity, since
Alejandra is Spanish native speaker and Philippe is French native speaker!

C’est avec un grand plaisir que nous voudrions vous informer que nous avons
été sélectionnés pour travailler pour le Secrétariat de la Société Civile
SMSI auprès de la Conférence des ONG (CONGO). Nous avons pris nos fonctions
en Mai, et nous sommes désormais pleinement opérationnels pour aider la
participation de la Société Civile du mieux que nous le pouvons !

 

Bien sûr, cette position représente un défi important pour nous, et nous
sommes extrêmement motivés pour mener cette mission à bien, avec un grand
engagement et un fort enthousiasme. Cette présente nomination s’inscrit dans
la continuité de l’équipe précédente en charge du SMSI. En effet, nous avons
déjà travaillé pour la CONGO depuis plusieurs mois, et plus
particulièrement, nous avons assisté Adina Fulga Radi lors de la préparation
et l’organisation du PrepCom-2, en suivant très attentivement les
interactions entre les différents acteurs du SMSI, les méthodes de travail
de la Société Civile, ainsi que les problématiques du Sommet. 

 

Enfin, vous pouvez noter que notre équipe au sein de la CONGO reflète
désormais une des principales problématiques de la Société de l’Information,
à savoir la diversité linguistique, puisque Alejandra est de langue
maternelle espagnole et Philippe de langue maternelle française !

Queridos Colegas,

 

Es con gran placer informarles que hemos sido seleccionados para trabajar
como la Secretaria de la SC de la CMSI dentro de la Conferencia de ONG.
Empezamos nuestras labores en Mayo, y ahora estamos totalmente operacionales
para ayudar al máximo a la Sociedad Civil en su participación dentro de la
CMSI. 

 

Este trabajo representa un gran reto para ambos, y estamos altamente
motivados para llevarlo a cabo con gran compromiso y entusiasmo. Nuestra
designación se inscribe en la continuidad del previo equipo de CONGO para la
CMSI. Hemos estado trabajando con CONGO por varios meses, y en especial
hemos asistido a Adina Fulga Radi en la preparación y organización de la
PrepCom-2, siguiendo con gran atención la interacción entre los actores de
la CMSI, los métodos de trabajo de la SC, así como también todos los temas
relacionados con la CMSI.

 

Por último queremos hacer hincapié que el equipo de CONGO ahora refleja una
de las mayores preocupaciones de la Sociedad de la Información, llamada
diversidad lingüística, ya que Alejandra es de lengua materna española y
Philippe es de lengua materna Francesa!
