Dear all,

Further to Karen Bank’s e-mail yesterday, I called Otto-Frei, the Bern
agency mandated by the OCWSIS (Organising Committee) for the preparation of
the Exhibition, in order to clarify the exhibition request process.

• Pre-booking / full registration

Pre-booking form has been available on the ICT4all website for several
months. This procedure aimed at getting an overview of the needs and to
determine a preliminary planning for this exhibition.

A few days ago, the full registration form was made available, replacing the
pre-booking form. Actually, the full registration process is still open to
everybody (those who sent a pre-booking, but also those who did not), and is
compulsory for all.

If you already sent a pre-booking form, you should have received an e-mail
calling you to fill on-line this full registration form. This new form
requests you to submit additional information (description of your project,
description of your organisation).

Even if you did not pre-book an exhibition space, you can still fully
register on line as well.

There is no clear official deadline for exhibition space request – official
deadline should be end of July. However, it was clearly said to me that
Request for Exhibition Space should be provided as soon as possible, because
even though there is no official deadline, they should start the selection
process at the end of June – which is very soon indeed.

• Workshops

The ICT4all Exhibition would have at its disposal 10 rooms to organise
workshops within the exhibition space itself. This additional opportunity
would only be open to exhibitors. However please note that the organisation
of these workshops in the framework of the exhibition space is a completely
separate process from side events.

To conclude, if you want to participate in this ICT4all exhibition, do not
forget to comply with the full registration process. The sooner you send it,
the more chance you have to get an exhibition space

hi

I'm a little confused about the process for stand/room bookings and wonder

if anyone has definitive information.

On the GKP list, there is a message indicating that additional information

has to be submitted (more detail etc) for stand bookings by today (June 20)

- though this may be an internal deadline. Nonetheless, i believe people

are expected to submit additional information after the 'pre-booking' stage

- but i can't see a clear deadline anywhere.

"Dear Friends of the ICT 4 all Exhibition

All of you have already indicated your interest in the pre-registration

form to showcase your solutions in an exhibit or present solutions in a

workshop. We are pleased to announce that it is now possible to fully

register for your exhibition online

<http://www.expo.ict4all-tunis.org>www.expo.ict4all-tunis.org. The

registration form for workshops will be available online soon.

and the form is here:
http://www.expo.ict4all-tunis.org/participation_form.htm

---->

I see nothing about additional forms for workshops (yet) but i do see the

following which implies that you can only organise a side event if you are

an exhibitor - and i'm sure this will rule out many hoping to host

workshops etc?

Is this correct?

"YOUR WORKSHOP/CONFERENCE

Exchanging views on ICT 4 all Exhibition

The ICT 4 all workshops/conferences offer the opportunity for exhibitors to

exchange, present and debate solutions that are showcased in an exhibit.

Rooms are available to exhibitors only! "
