Dear Nnenna,
We do encourage any initiative comming from Africa,
including the DSF. In our Position paper in 10 points
presented in Geneva Prepcom-2, we underlined the TFFM
insufficiency concerning the DSF challenge.
We would like to work with the African caucus on this
isuue because of we are aware difficulties to provide
such a Found with sufficient and sustainable
resources.
We do think that such a DSF, to be relevant, must
benefit more from ODA than from volontary, individual
and charity contributions. But this is another
appraoch different from the leaders of the initiative.
Are they ready to move .... the discussion is opened.

provenant du Continent y compris le FSN. Dans notre
document de position en 10 points, présenté au
prepcom-2, nous avons souligné les insuffisances en ce
domaine du document de TFFM.
Mais nous demeurons persuadés que pour que ce Fonds
deviennent crédible et fiable, il doit être alimenté
par l'APD et non par des contributions volontaires,
individuelles et charitables comme le réclament ses
promoteurs. Sont-ils prêts au dialogue, pour notre
part nous sommes disponibles et intéressés.
