Information & Communications Technology
OIST provides conceptual leadership for the operational management of all UNDP mission-critical technologies and systems. It operates both from Headquaters and from decentralization locations. Key current issues and challenges include:

ICT strategy development; 
Manage mission-critical enterprise ICT systems; 
ICT policies and standards; 
Technical leadership in the development, management and enhancement of ICT systems consistent with UNDP's ICT Strategy; 
UN reform initiatives;
